Janice Lee

Janice is a final-year student studying Environmental Geoscience at Durham University in the U.K. She is passionate about the scientific ways to combat climate issues, climate policies and sustainability. As a student born and raised in Hong Kong, she noticed the lack of proper environmental education in or outside the classroom. However, studying abroad in the UK, she has noticed that the youth generally have a higher environmental awareness in recycling and other initiatives to protect our environment. Through this opportunity, she would like to bring this culture back to Hong Kong by raising awareness across schools and universities in Hong Kong to start acting in protecting our planet. She believes that we are all responsible for creating a sustainable future by developing green technology, sustainable finance, and business. In her leisure time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, and travelling!
