Christie did not take a conventional route to her current policy and research role with BEC but regardless of your education background, Christie believes that each person can contribute their unique skill sets to the plethora of roles within the environmental industry. Prior to the pandemic, Christie was an avid scuba diver but these days she tries to get by on marine documentaries.
