Climate Week Hong Kong is a week of youth-driven actions and awareness-raising for climate change and sustainable development in Hong Kong. Climate Week aims to mobilize the youth community and advance sustainable transition by providing an opportunity for different parties to speak out as one voice, operating as an interactive platform to gather ideas, and inspiring ideation for the wider community. The Climate Week was held between 22 and 28 August 2022.

Objectives

  • To increase Hong Kong youth participation and awareness in climate change through a wide range of multi-disciplinary events and workshops

  • To showcase the potential of youth-led climate action and innovation and highlight the importance of empowerment and representation to future changemakers

  • To bring together the resources and connections of multiple organizations and student societies to create a whole that is bigger and better than the sum of its parts
